Pupil passport: one-page profile template
A pupil passport is a one-page profile written with the pupil, in their words: what helps, what tips them over, who their key adult is, where their safe space is and what to do if they struggle. It travels ahead of them into every lesson, so cover and supply staff start already knowing what matters.

How to use it
Write it with the pupil, not about them. Their own wording is what makes them trust it and what makes staff read it.
Share it with every adult who teaches them, including cover staff, and review it when something changes. A profile that is three terms old can do more harm than none.
